This was Mahakavi Vallathol's residence. Govt of Kerala took over the building in 1986 and converted it into Vallathol Museum and entrusted to Kerala Kalamandalam under the initiative of Sri. C. Achutha Menon then Chief Minister of Kerala.

Portraying the great poet’s life, achievements and contributions the museum contains his manuscripts, important moments in his life including meetings with world and Indian leaders. Mementos and awards received by Vallathol are also on display.
